Hello everyone ~ Well, this past week was very eventful! Let's first talk about the bugs floating around our house...A couple of weeks ago, Eli started having a cough. I figured it was just a cold because he was acting fine, but then one night he came wandering out of his room around 11:30pm with a dazed look. He was SO hot - fever up to 103. We took him to the doc the next day, and she was unsure about the diagnosis, but thought possibly walking pneumonia! For a couple days he was a little under par, but after the antibiotics kicked in he returned to his rambunxious self! He still coughs occasionally, but overall is better. Well, then on Monday my eye was constantly watering at work, then I began to feel very congested. Turns out I had a bad sinus infection, and for the first time in years took a round of antibiotics myself! I'm better now as well. But, perhaps the worst of all was the littlest member of our family, Hadley. She never had a high fever, but developed a pretty severe cough. I could feel the congestion in her lungs while she breathed by simply feeling her back. The doctor diagnosed her with bronchiolitis, which is caused by a virus...possibly RSV (not sure). This was on Wednesday of this past week. The poor baby would cough so bad, and the mucus would trigger her reflexes, causing her to throw up. Sleep was difficult for her, and she lost her appetite...We kept her home with us Wed-Fri, praying that she would turn around. The doctor had said the cough could last up to 4 weeks! Well, let me just tell you that God is great because it is only Sunday and she is almost back to normal!! Her personality has returned, and aside from an occasional cough (and still waking up more frequently at night), she is great! Kasey ran fever yesterday and felt a little "off" today, but I think he's feeling better. Don't y'all want to come visit us?! :)
Some other things that we did over the past couple weeks...
Attended a party hosted by a local periodontist who I refer to...the kids got to sit with Santa, and the weather was great!

Celebrated Christmas early with Kasey's cousin, Alanna, and her daughter Kinzie. Unfortunately Joel (Alanna's husband) was out of town but we missed him!! Kinzie is almost 7 and played so sweetly with Eli! I was trying to take a picture and the goofballs kept sticking out their tongues!!

Here is a rare site - - a picture with all four of us! We were at Kasey's parents house and I was nursing Hadley, so you can't see her, but she is there!

And, last night we had my work Christmas Party. It was at the Taylor's house (the dentist I work with) and was so much fun. I am blessed to be surrounded by such amazing co-workers!
