I am so blessed with the most beautiful, wonderful children in this entire world. I know that every mom thinks this of their kids, but it is truly how I feel! Probably my favorite thing is to watch the two of them interact. Since the day Hadley was born, Eli has been the most sweet, gentle, loving big brother. Literally, he has never once shown any signs of jealously or aggression towards her. He LOVES to hug and kiss her. She will be in her bouncer and he will so delicately lean down and give her hugs. He never mistakenly hurts her - he is amazing! I remember when she was brand new we were in the car and she was crying and I heard Eli say "It's o.k., Hadley. We're almost home!". He will also talk "babytalk" to her; changing the tones and inflections of his little voice just like an adult would. He'll "read" her books. He'll go over and sit next to her just to hold her hand; he gets a kick out of it when she grasps his finger. Hadley LOVES watching Eli. When he comes in a room and she can hear his voice, she'll start looking for him! There are things that Eli does that immediatley cause her to giggle! The other day I was feeding Hadley her baby food and she started "spitting" or making little bubbles. I said to her, "You silly spitter!", and Eli (the parrot that he is) started saying it to her. I am not kidding, but EVERY time he does it she laughs! That is what brings me the most joy - seeing my children love each other. It warms my heart so much. I love my life!!!!

this is the most adorable pic of a big brother and little sis. She looks like she is so interested in what Eli is showing her. TOO CUTE!
