Here's a glimpse into our everyday lives with the two little angels:
ELI:
1. His vocabulary is unbelievable ~ every day he surprises me with new words, phrases, etc. His current favorite adjective is "amazing". I love it.
2. He is learning his "right" from his "left". He absolutely loves to learn, constantly asking me what things are and repeating everything I manage to share with him. He is a genius!
3. Funny moment: The other day I made him fish sticks and the bread came off of one of them, exposing the white fish. Eli asked, in all seriousness, "Mommy, is this chicken nuggets with icing?" :)
4. Still not quite embracing potty training
5. We drove out to the TDS Ranch because I had to drop off something, and Eli was absolutely fascinated by the animals - all kinds of beautiful deer, zebras, buffalo and even a giraffe! He was in awe.
6. He is still in 100% love with Hadley
7. Eli's favorite songs are "From the Inside Out", "Hosanna", "Lead Me to the Cross" (all by Hillsong United), and the "clapping" song {aka "Apologize" by One Republic}
8. He LOVES to read books. He has memorized all of the Leslie Patricelli books ("Big Little", "Yummy Yucky", "Quiet Loud"...etc). He also likes to recite the story of Jonah.
9. His favorite song is "Happy Birthday" - - we sing it every night before bed.
10. When we pray he always says "Dear Jesus, thank you for God. And thank you for Layla. And thank you for our family..." going on to list everyone. For those of you who don't know...Layla is our kitty that died last year.
HADLEY:
1. The most beautiful blue eyes on the planet with perfect, girly, curled lashes.
2. Received her first haircut last week - - I had to trim the random wispy long hair because she was a little Donald Trump!!
3. Her smile melts your heart. I love it when I'm doing something around the house, her propped on my hip...when I turn and catch her just staring right at me with the biggest gummy smile!
4. Still in 100% love with Eli
5. Rolling over and almost sitting up!
6. Loves her baby food (she's getting so big!)
7. The happiest, joyful little bundle of love ever! She is SOOOO happy.
8. Still not sleeping through the night, but I'm ok with it because she is my sweet baby and is perfect.
9. Loves to listen to her daddy play guitar
10. She loves for me to kiss and hold her hand when I'm nursing her. She is so cuddly.

I am glad to hear he loved the ranch!
That is so funny. Claire loves to sing the Apologize song too. She walks around the house singing "Apologize" over and over (just the one word).
