2: Little Miss Hadley is almost 2! Her birthday is coming up (July 27), which is hard to believe. I look at her and think, "This is how old Eli was when I was about to give birth to Hadley. I can't imagine being in that scenario again right now!". And for those of you out there who have been wondering...we feel very blessed and content with our 2 miracles and are not planning on any more additions to the family. :) It just feels right with our family of four. Of course, we have open hearts to what the Lord has for us, and if someday He ever put another child in our lives, we would be very blessed! Every day I just stare at Eli and Hadley and feel SO blessed beyond words. They are more precious than I ever could have dreamed. And, to have a boy and a girl...what more could you ask for?!

4: Eli turned 4 on June 8th! Yikes - - - the time is moving in warp speed now! We had a blast celebrating his birthday. We had family and friends over for BBQ and even had a pinata! (Thanks Lauro & Britt!). I am truly taken aback when I look at the person Eli has become. I am watching him turn into a boy now...no longer a toddler. He is so energetic, yet gentle...silly, but SO smart...and he melts my heart every day in the different ways he shows me love. He truly has a joyous spirit and brightens every one of my days. The Lord speaks to me through Eli. Sometimes Eli will say something that slides everything right back into perspective for me. There is SO much that we can learn from our children, if we'll just listen. I think back to when he was born, and even in that overwhelming moment, when I thought my heart was about to burst with love, I never could have imagined how much I could love him. It grows every day. I love watching him grow up and accomplish new things, but sometimes I wish I could rewind and go back to the days when he was just a little baby. I try to cherish every little moment because I know that before I know it he'll be off to college. I love him!

6: Kasey and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on May 29th. The kids stayed with the grandparents overnight (yippee!), and Kasey took me to Truluck's for dinner. It was wonderful. Before dinner we went to a movie, then to Cedar Street and listened to a band, which was great too. It reminded us that we need to set aside more time for just the two of us. It was amazing what just one night out together did for our relationship. It's so easy to get caught up in the everyday...especially once you have children and both work! So, we're committing to each other to have more "date nights"!
The two of us last Christmas (isn't it sad that we don't have very many pictures of the two of us? Need to change that!)

29: And lastly, I turned 29 on June 14th. My last year in my twenties!! ;-) We celebrated Father's Day and my birthday with my parents last weekend. It was great weather and we had fun in the pool...especially Eli & Hadley! I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents, siblings, and in-laws. I am surrounded by Godly, loving people who make sure that I feel that love daily. I am so lucky that we all live within 45 minutes of each other!
