A couple weeks ago we traveled to Lake of the Ozarks, in Missouri, for a Family Reunion. We celebrated my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary! My dad's brothers and their families also came. We rented a lake house...it was beautiful! It came equipped with 2 paddle boats, a canoe, and two water trampolines! We also rented a pontoon boat, which was a blast. The kids did GREAT! I think Eli had more than his fair share of candy, but "It's Vacation!" was what Kasey and I just kept telling ourselves. The drive was fine. It's 12 hours each way, so we divided the drive up into two 6-hour days. The DVD player was a life saver! Eli is so cute...he has wireless headphones that he can work like a pro. It's so funny! I actually got some sun and was able to relax {well, somewhat relax...the kids kept me busy!}. Thanks to Mimi for watching the kiddos and giving me time to lay out and go play on the boat! It was so amazing to see my Papa and Grandma with Eli and Hadley. SO many years separate them, but they are connected and it is a beautiful thing to see. Papa and Grandma told us about how they met and fell in love. I hope that Kasey and I are as happy as they are after 60 years! The only sad part was when we had to say goodbye. It's hard when family lives from coast to coast, but it's trips like these that will always be remembered! Enjoy the snapshots...

Grat pics Ash! Grandma and Grandpa are still glowing about the trip. "It could not have been better" they said. Hadley is the big #1 - great cake is looks quite yummy. It was so great to have the kids with all of us.
BTW Casey -- Kelly loves her Accord - she just got back from Japan three week trip - she loves Japan too.
