It's a typical Saturday around here...I woke up around 7:30 (boy, what I would give to sleep in!) when Eli came into our room and asked if he could "snuggle up". So, we laid there a few minutes then the day began! It's 2:45 and so far I've bathed the dog, showered, ironed Kasey's work clothes, did some dishes, got all 3 of us ready, gone to the bank and HEB, prepared 2 meals, done 2 loads of laundry, and of course, played with my little ones. I'm exhausted, and they are finally both asleep (yay!), and all I can think about is going to sleep myself! But - it's always a dilemma - although I DESPERATELY need the sleep, now is my only chance to really rev up and accomplish some chores! Can I get a *HOLLA* from any of you other moms out there who can relate?! (Now I'm thinking about Ellen - if any of you have watched her show you know what I mean!). 99.9% of the time I end up doing housework because by Saturday, it looks like a tornado made it's way through our house! I quickly stopped to check my e-mail so I thought I'd post about our day so far, just for fun. I took a few pics of the kids today, so I'll share those. Now, it's off I go to the toilets, the floors, the laundry, and the dishes!! ;)
- The two of them watching "The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Beginning". (Well, Hadley's attention was held for about 5 seconds). I wish we could have bought the original, but it's locked up in the "Disney Vault". I hate that they do that! We're dying to get "The Lion King" for Eli; he's watched the VHS at Mimi & Poppy's and loves it!
