Kasey turned the big "3-0" last week! His birthday was actually Thursday the 26th, but last weekend we had a get together at my parents house. Kasey's family, my family, and a few friends were there and it was so great to hang out together. We spent Sunday afternoon relaxing, having yummy food, and the weather was gorgeous so we spent the entire day outside. The guys enjoyed playing croquet, Bocce Ball, and badminton! It's hard to believe that Kasey is 30 ~ we've almost been together half of our lives now. I couldn't even imagine a better husband, father, or friend than Kasey. God truly blessed me by bringing Kasey and his family into my life. I am so grateful to have such a Godly man for my partner in life. He inspires me to be better at everything I do. And, he loves me more than anyone - something that he makes sure I feel every day. When I trace back over the past 13 years we've been together it seems like that was so long ago, and so much has changed. We were in high school then! It seems like ages ago I was cheering for the Round Rock Dragons and Kasey was played corner back for Westwood. Now we are both working and have two children! Wow! But, I still see glimpses all the time of how we were when we first fell in love. I can't imagine where we'll be in another 13 years, but I know that it is just going to get better and better. I love you, Kasey...Happy Birthday!
