Eli is growing up right before our eyes! He will turn 4 this June, which is hard to believe. He's definitely becoming more of a "boy"; very interested in superheroes and "action figures". His favorites things to do are play with his animal set (we've built a collection of these animal figurines for him...you mom's have probably seen them...they are sold separately in bins at Target), build things, play with cars, do puzzles, and color or paint. He also loves to be a part of anything Hadley is doing. He'll show her how to take care of her babies and tucks her in at night. Eli also loves to help his Daddy with the outside chores. They both have these chairs in the garage that they will sit in after working outside, or when a storm is coming, they'll go watch as the rain moves closer. His current favorite movie is "Kung Fu Panda". Eli loves to use his golf clubs to hit balls in the backyard. Kasey always helps though, because these are REAL toddler-size irons that Poppy gave him...not the plastic kind! Eli is learning so much and is eager for more. I know that he is going to truly love school. He is kind, loving, and very obedient { for the most part :) }. Lately, when we've left to go somewhere, he'll say,"Mommy - I am going to be on my BEST behavior!". We are so beyond incredibly blessed to have this little man in our lives!!
I read on a friend's blog a survey she did with her girls. It was so cute, so I had to try it with Eli today before nap. I asked him the following questions, and wrote down exactly what he answered with. Enjoy!

- Eskimo kisses (that's where you rub your noses together)

- Doing spankings

- Fix people's teeth
14. What is your mom's favorite food?
- Pizza, celery, salad, vegetables...everything I don't like
15. What makes you proud of your mom?
- Saying 'Yes, Daddy'....Cause he's the boss of everyone in this house. (!)
16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
- {first answer}: a Godly character (this is what they earn if they're good at church)
- {second answer, when I asked "No, what cartoon character?"}: Pablo

- Watch movies and sing songs with Daddy and hang out

- We both have greenish-brown eyes

- We both don't have ponytails...and you're a girl and I'm a boy...and I'm not a grown up and you are

- Because you're nice

- Wal-Mart and HEB

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to see you are back on here. Your kids are so cute. We should really get them together soon. Claire and Eli remind me a lot of each other. Very sweet and kind.
