School!

Today was a very exciting day for us...Eli started at a new school! He has moved on from our daycare in Buda to the K-4 class at Strickland Christian School in Austin. And, no we didn't pick that school just because of the name! :) After hearing many good things about the school, Kasey and I checked it out and were very impressed. We feel it is where Eli is supposed to be right now, and he is going to thrive! The academic side of school is very traditional and impressive - but also more important to us is the fact that prayer, scripture, and the development of Godly character will be part of his daily routine at school. We had open house on Monday and met his teacher and classmates and it was wonderful! Today they had their first day of class and they were so cute in their uniforms (especially Eli)! We normally gel his hair all wild and spiky, but today Eli said he wanted it "combed down"...I guess he wanted to look studious! :) Eli's teacher said that he had a wonderful day and was very well-behaved - yay! So, here are a few picks from our special day:
